Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or later) · macOS 11 or later
Intel Mac? Rembobino only works on Macs with Apple silicon. To check, open the menu › About This Mac: the “Chip” line should say Apple M1, M2, M3 or later.
Opening it the first time: one minute
Rembobino isn't certified by Apple yet, so macOS asks you to confirm, just once.
- Open the downloaded Rembobino.dmg file, then drag Rembobino into the Applications folder.
- Double-click Rembobino. macOS says “Apple could not verify Rembobino is free of malware”: click Done.
- Open System Settings › Privacy & Security, scroll down to the Security section and click Open Anyway.
- Confirm with Open Anyway, then your password or Touch ID. From then on, Rembobino opens normally.

After the trial
The trial restores 100 memories, picked across all your years. For the rest, click Buy a licence in the app (€9.99, paid once): the key appears straight away, you paste it, and Rembobino restores the rest without redoing the trial.
Check your file (optional)
Only download Rembobino from this website or from its GitHub page. To check the file hasn't been tampered with, type shasum -a 256 ~/Downloads/Rembobino.dmg in Terminal: the result must match the “sha256” fingerprint shown next to the file on the GitHub page of the latest version.
