On a Mac: installed in 30 seconds
Intel Mac? Rembobino only works on Macs with Apple silicon. To check, open the menu › About This Mac: the “Chip” line should say Apple M1, M2, M3 or later.
Rembobino is signed and verified by Apple: it opens like any other app.
- Open the downloaded Rembobino.dmg file, then drag Rembobino into the Applications folder.
- Double-click Rembobino. macOS reminds you it was downloaded from the internet: click Open.
On Windows: installing takes a minute
Rembobino isn't signed with Microsoft yet, so Windows asks you to confirm, just once.
- If your browser says Rembobino-Setup.exe isn't commonly downloaded, click … › Keep.
- Open the file. If Windows says “Windows protected your PC”, click More info, then Run anyway.
- Follow the installer: no administrator rights needed. Rembobino opens at the end and stays in the Start menu.

After the trial
The trial restores 250 memories, picked across all your years. For the rest, click Buy a licence in the app (€5.99, or $5.99 in the US, paid once): the key appears straight away, you paste it, and Rembobino restores the rest without redoing the trial.
Check your file (optional)
Only download Rembobino from this website or from its GitHub page. To check the file hasn't been tampered with, type shasum -a 256 ~/Downloads/Rembobino.dmg in Terminal (on Windows, in Command Prompt: certutil -hashfile Downloads\Rembobino-Setup.exe SHA256): the result must match the “sha256” fingerprint shown next to the file on the GitHub page of the latest version.
